How it works

The short version: buy a plan, install the eSIM at home, switch it on after landing. Below is each step in more detail, plus what to do if something goes wrong.

1. Check your phone

Your phone needs to support eSIM and must not be locked to one carrier. Use the compatibility check before you buy.

2. Buy a plan

Pick your destination and a plan size. You'll see our prices in euro, US dollar, Australian dollar or Singapore dollar, depending on where you are. All prices include VAT. You pay through our secure checkout.

3. Get your QR code

After payment you get an email with a QR code and a manual code. You can also find them in your account.

4. Install before you leave

Install on wifi, at home or at the airport.
Scan the QR code, or enter the manual code.
Give the line a clear name, for example "ArrivalSIM Bali".
Leave the eSIM line switched off until you land.

5. Land and switch on

Turn on the ArrivalSIM line.
Set it as the line for mobile data.
Turn on data roaming for that line. This is normal for travel eSIMs and costs nothing extra.

When does my plan start?

Your days start when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination. Installing at home does not start your plan.

It does not connect

Check that data roaming is on for the ArrivalSIM line.
Switch flight mode on and off once.
Restart the phone.
